Multisite
Frontage supports single sites and per-site activation on a WordPress multisite network.
Network activation is not supported
Activate Frontage on each site in the network that uses it. If you try to
network-activate it, WordPress shows:
Frontage cannot be network-activated. Activate it individually on each site
in the network.</em >
Nothing is installed when that happens.
Each site where Frontage is active uses one license activation.
If Frontage is already network-activated
Some older installations were network-activated before this was refused. If yours is one of them, Frontage shows a notice in Network Admin.
- Nothing has been switched off, and that is intentional.
Frontage keeps running so your live property listings stay online. - Under network activation, only one site is fully set up.
The other sites are missing settings, templates and scheduled tasks. - Contact support before you change the activation.
The obvious order of steps (network-deactivate, then activate on each site)
takes every site offline in between.
There are no self-service steps for this. We work out each migration with you, so the sites stay online.
